My grandmother always kept one of these oil pots in her kitchen. It s great for using oil more than once and it has a strainer that allows you to remove all the things you don t want in your oil from the previous use. I don t fry foods that often so this allows me to store the oil for the next time. The pot seems durable and is very light. I am happy with this purchase and would recommend to others.

I was surprised by the size. I absolutely love it! I used to keep my grease in pasta jars but they were beginning to become unsightly. This strainer pot is more aesthetically pleasing and holds all the grease in one container. I love that the sieve truly captures the food particles and leaves the oil almost new again. The coaster tops off the overall look and the stainless steel is easy to clean. I am delighted with this purchase.

I make ghee from four packs of 16 Oz butter from Costco and ghee made from those fit perfectly in this pot. I m so happy. It s usage is very convenient too. Loving it so far.

GET THIS!!! If you re in need of a place to store your pan grease, then look no further. It is well made, comes with a handy tray for any drippings (just in case), the top fits very well, and the handle is great for transporting so that it won t slip out of your hands!!! I use bacon "butter" as my dad called it, all the time, fried potatoes, fried okra, and even half and half for pie crust, makes it a very savory crust for pot pies, pumpkin and especially for a mincemeat pie. Great container with a very good handle, no more slippery container
